i don't know, but there's something addictive about blogging now, especially during such a time when you have almost absolutely nothing to do. (because i can't possibly divide an entire day into only 3 sections for meals, piano, and reading, because it would be wrong to start reading up on stuff now and because i've switched on the computer, anyway. but largely because i think i need to talk, or at least do stream-of-consciousness writing like this so that i won't ecksplode out of sheer boredom.)

haha the stream-of-consciousness thing reminds me of what charmaine said after exams one day - i forgot which, but i have a very strong feeling that it was history. anyhow, it went something along the lines of hoping that there was this device of sorts that would just record all our thoughts on paper for us, thereby saving our hands from the trauma commonly associated with long, writing-heavy examinations. it would be good, except that whatever came out of that for me would probably be pure, incoherent balderdash. and then i'd get penalized for lack of organization. -.-

ahpfft, i think i contradict myself very often. at times the only thing i'd want to do is to just stay at home and do whatever i wanted to, but now that i get this chance to do so, life sort of feels stilted. which is ironic, but somehow, i think it's got something to do with the fact that the habit of doing work, preparing for exams and yada yada has gotten so ingrained within me that there's inevitably this pang of guilt which hits me whenever i laze around or just stare off into space. see, this is so irritating. :/ and what makes it worse is that as much as i can't find the impetus to laze around (if you could even have an impetus for lazing around, it just sounds too oxymoronic, hahaha), i can't find any inspiration to engage in constructive work either. like, write poetry, for instance. which reminds me: i haven't finished reading my mentor's anthology! and aaron lee's as well. ohno. (yet on a separate note, i have finished 'the inheritance of loss', hurray!)

masterclass on tuesday; i wish i could play beethoven, but apparently i'll have to stick to chopin. not saying that i don't like my chopin - i daresay it's going to be one piece that i'll remember for life, really - but i seriously feel that my beethoven needs more exposure, more comments, more help. considering its awfully pathetic state now, rawr. :/ then again, i guess it isn't polished enough either, so maybe it's better to save it for later. hahaha (: but anyhow, i'm glad i finally got the hang of it, the emotions, technique and all. the only bad thing is that perhaps i'm getting more prone to placing accents/sforzandos all over the place now, not the best thing to do for chopin.

oh, and joy, i broke another string! of course i'm being sarcastic. maybe i should just stick to bach; after all i've broken strings in pieces from the remaining 3 periods, yes even chopin. if there was a guiness world record for number of piano strings broken, maybe i've already broken it! (hahaha the pun -.-) and eek, concert next month, competition in december, grawrrrrr. :/

okay i think i've got to go down for dinner now, if not my mum's going to throw a fit. adieu (:

yeah i guess this really constitutes stream-of-consciousness writing. yay me (:

[edit] so that this would be less conspicuous and so that people will not make rubbish comments that i totally resent and detest, this comes here. i promise you that if you make any blasphemous insinuations of any sort, i shall immediately do an antonio to you. try figuring that out.

uh, fine, upon request?

1. The person who tagged you is: wilford
2. Your relationship with him/her: friend (who is too brilliant at the piano for one's own good).
3. Your 5 impressions with him/her:
#a: i reiterate, too brilliant at the piano (for one's own good).
#b: person with low self-esteem -.-
#c: nice, perhaps too nice. Oo
#d: funny?
#e: okay for the lack of a better word, let's just say, PRO.
4. The most memorable thing that he/she had done for you: comforted me when i'm sad, like any good friend would. (:
5. The most memorable words that he/she had said to you: me no thinky so, HAHAHA.
6. If he/she will become your lover, you will: ?! die from shock.
7. If he/she becomes your lover, things he/she will have to improve on will be: hello, i would have already died from shock? so i wouldn't be able to say anything else, would i. -.-
8: If he/she becomes your enemy, you will: technically, this should have happened long ago.
9. If he/she become your enemy, the reason being will be: haha the very fact that i'm an idiot. :/ 10. The most desired thing you want to do for him/her now is: i think this quiz has a serious grammatical ailment. and anyway just be a good friend, no?
11. Your overall impression of him/her is: haha can i just put pro?
12. How do you think people around you feel about you: go ask the people, don't ask me. grawr, don't i hate quizzes. -.-
13. The character you love of yourself is: writing nonsensical blogposts like this. nah, kidding. technically, i don't know. O.o
14. On the contrary, the character you hate of yourself is: for being both overly sensitive and insensitive at the same time. it doesn't make sense, i know, but similarly, i'm aware that it does make a lot of sense as well. :D
15. The most ideal person you want to be: go away, i just want to be myself! (:
16. Pass this quiz to 10 people: i shall be nice/lazy, and not do so. woohoo :D [/edit]

composed; 6:44 PM :D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
